Lamp love - Lamps by Ariele Alasko

When I first saw Ariele Alasko's blog Brooklyn to West and blogged about her home here I already knew I will have a post about the beatiful lamps designed and made by her from reclaimed materials. These lamps either decorate her home or are used in her restaurant in California, Il Vecchio.
Let's start with my absolute favourite one - old whisks got new life when they turned into lights.

Art & Craft: Mugs with Birchtree motifs

I came across these beautiful and very creative mugs by Swedish artist Maria Holmberg via Monica, author of one of my all-time favourite blogs, Splendid willow. 

The mugs are available at Splendid Willow Avenue in the US, but not sure if they are sold in Europe outside Sweden.
