Dining area
I love everything about this photo I found via Pinterest. I like the texture of the ceiling and the concrete floor, I like the artwork, the furniture, the mismatched chairs and finally the pendant - yumm. The color combo of fuchsia and greyish is a great choice as well.

Spider lamp DIY
One of my favourite lamps is Dear Ingo by Moooi.
I found a similar, look alike - almost - DIY one on Térkultúra blog. using a salad bowl and Forsa desk lamps by IKEA. I think it is very cool and I considering one - or two? - to put to my living room.
I cannot call it a real DYI as a professional help is needed to complete this project in good quality but the idea is brilliant. Petra from Térkultúra used Alchimista studió for carrying out the project.
Here are some process photos below.

Dream home
I found this eclectic, funky apartment via the fabulous blog of Dustjacket
My absolute favorite is the bathroom with that beautiful wallpaper by Marimekko.

I like crocheted and hand-knitted poufs that are quite pupular lately.

Furniture made of hazmat boxes
I first found photos of these upcycled hazmat boxes via the blog of Vadjutka - she otherwise makes beatiful jewelry, check out her site, will find real beauties there. I then checked out artepowera, blog of Janos Huszti, who makes furniture pieces from wooden hazmat boxes from 60's and 70's, sometimes he spray paints them using motifs from vintage curtains. Cool, isn't it?

Dream home of Ariele Alasko
I found this very unique and exceptional home via Méchant Design and I go nuts for it.
The owner, Ariele builds incredibly beautiful objects and furniture from barn wood and reclaimed materials. She also has a restaurant that she designed, built and decorated similar style as her home. It is just amazing and a good example of environmentally conscious lifestyle. It is worth visiting Ariele's blog, Brooklyn to West where she documents her journey from Brooklyn to California to collect reclaimed wood to build and decorate a Restaurant from scratch. You can find tons of inspiration and creativity here.

Lamp love - Coral Pendant by David Trubridge
I can very easily imagine this pendant in my boys' room. It is available in different colors and and five sizes.
“This form is based on the structure of a geometric polyhedron. Every piece is identical, making home assembly easy. The way it grows outwards with fingers reminds me of coral. I love to snorkel over reefs exploring the amazing detail and structure of all the various corals. " - David Trubridge
... and its inspiration - the brain coral
