Dream Home of Josephine Ryan

Neutral colors with a hint of aqua blue and turquoise, furniture from the flea market and creative decoration in an old house by very talented Josephine Ryan. My absolute favourite room of the home is the kitchen with those rough walls and ceiling, just amazing! My favourite object is the cage lamp in front of the fireplace.

I would be interested to see the outside of the house as well,  but have found no picture about it.

Lamp love: Stag Wall light by Emerie & Cie

I confess I am a lamp addict, the first thing that catches my eyes in an interior is usually the lamp (and the colors).
One of my new favourite in terms of lamps is the Stag Wall light by Emerie & Cie. It is made if wrought iron, and I can imagine to put one in our Bedroom in front of the door, where it would act as a focal point of the room.
I just need to travel to either Brussels, Antwerp, Paris or London to get one, as Emerie & Cie has shops there.

Art & Craft: Mugs with Birchtree motifs

I came across these beautiful and very creative mugs by Swedish artist Maria Holmberg via Monica, author of one of my all-time favourite blogs, Splendid willow. 

The mugs are available at Splendid Willow Avenue in the US, but not sure if they are sold in Europe outside Sweden.

Dream Home: Apartment of Paola Navone

I have been thinking for a while what to start this blog with. Photos of my own house? Present my upcoming plans for spring to decorate the house and build the garden? Share some of my inspirational photos collected in past months and years?... I think the best will be if I share photos of an interior I really like just to kick off the blog and collect some inspiration to accomplish my goal for the coming years - Document the evolution of decorating our House by the Danube.
